SAT Advantage Courses
Our comprehensive SAT Advantage Courses are 36 hours long, consisting of 20 hours of instruction and four full, authentic practice tests. Courses thoroughly cover all three areas of the SAT (Math, Reading, and Writing). Our philosophy incorporates a two-pronged approach, emphasizing both strategy and content to maximize student achievement. All of our instructors are highly qualified, approachable, and engaging.

Both strategy and content are emphasized with extra focus placed on the math formulas and grammar rules unique to the test. All of our instructors are highly qualified, approachable, and engaging.
Please note that our ACT Advantage classes are especially limited in size.

After a decade of teaching in the area, we know the course requirements and the local teachers inside out. We are constantly forming new groups upon request. If you don’t see your class listed, but would like to set up a group, just let us know.

PSAT Intro Courses
In September and early October, Bridgewater offers one-day courses to prepare students for the October PSATs. These courses introduce students to the content of the test as well as present a number of the strategies required to efficiently crack the PSAT and SAT.

Subject Test Seminar Courses
In May and June, Bridgewater offers 5-week courses to prepare students for the Math I, Math II, Physics, and Chemistry Subject Tests. These courses cover the content of the tests and present a number of strategies designed to maximize student efficiency. Weekly practice tests are assigned during the course.

Organizational & Study Skills
Private Instruction
Bridgewater Prep offers private tutoring programs designed to help students properly plan, organize, and study on their own. Under the guidance of an instructor, students will tackle their current academic workloads and develop the skills needed to work independently. Our approach incorporates five areas of proficiency:
• Preplanning: Know what to expect before you come to class. That way your time in the classroom will be much more constructive.
• Classroom Engagement: Focus on the important details when taking notes. Ask questions. Participate.
• Scheduling: Plan homework and long-term assignments realistically. Stick to your schedule.
• Study Skills: Break the material into manageable quantities that can be comfortably learned and effectively retained.
• Technology: Leverage technology appropriately. Technology can be a powerful tool when it’s used properly, but it can get in the way when it’s not.
